American DJ duo The Chainsmokers have joined forces with space tourism company World View to 'become the first musical artists to play a concert on the edge of space', with plans to embark on a space tourism flight and 'record a concert from inside the World View capsule, giving viewers the chance to experience the musical performance first hand as well as the artists' journey to the far reaches of space'.

The Grammy winning duo jointly commented 'We've always dreamed of going to space and are thrilled to partner with World View on this adventure and experience. We know these views of earth and space will be amazing and exhilarating, and we hope to use this flight to unleash our creativity for future projects'.
